Voice Lessons
​
Beginners (Ages 9 through Adult and Senior)
Instruction is provided in classical music, sacred repertoire, musical theatre, and operatic arias. Admission is by audition to ensure students demonstrate a sincere commitment to their vocal studies. Young students are strongly encouraged to take both piano and voice lessons concurrently to support their overall musicianship. Adult students are required to be able to read music.

Short-Term Lessons for Audition Preparation
For students seeking focused, intensive training in preparation for upcoming auditions, short-term lesson packages are available. These lessons provide targeted coaching to maximize performance readiness in a condensed timeframe.

Bak/Dreyfoos/University School Audition Preparation
Comprehensive preparation is offered for auditions to specialized arts institutions. It is recommended to commence preparation at least ten months prior to the audition date to allow for optimal readiness.

University, Advanced, and Professional Singers
Advanced coaching focuses on vocal technique refinement, diction, and detailed preparation of audition repertoire and performance pieces to facilitate professional-level artistry.
Piano Lessons

Beginners (Ages 4 through Adult and Senior)
Instruction is offered to students ages four and up. Seniors are welcome.
Requirement: Young beginners must be able to recite and write the alphabet and numbers prior to starting lessons.
Beginning students will develop foundational skills through the Piano Adventures method books, with a focus on proper technique, music reading, and musicianship.
Lesson Length Recommendation:
Begin with 30-minute weekly lessons for the first two months. As students progress, lesson duration is typically increased to 45 or 60 minutes. Daily practice is required of all students.

Intermediate & Advanced Students Instruction includes classical piano repertoire, technique, sight-reading, and music theory. Students are also welcome to explore other musical styles of interest, such as sacred music, jazz-influenced works, and popular selections.

Bak / Dreyfoos / University School Audition Preparation (60 to 75 Minutes Weekly Lessons)
​Specialized preparation is provided for students auditioning for Bak, Dreyfoos, and university programs. Lessons focus on technical development, repertoire selection, and performance readiness.
Recommendation: Begin preparation at least twelve months prior to the audition date to allow for thorough preparation.
Lesson Length: Typically 60 to 75 minutes per week, depending on the student’s level and goals.

Performance Opportunities
Studio recitals are held twice a year, providing students with valuable performance experience. All students are expected to participate, with the exception of adult students, for whom participation is optional.
Select students may also participate in events hosted by the Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association, as well as other local and national performance opportunities and competitions. Students are further encouraged to pursue additional competitions and auditions as part of their musical growth.
